Who is Yasmin???

I have a lot of respect for dog owners like you who reach out for help – because I’ve been in your shoes.

Before I became a dog trainer, I struggled with my own dog’s aggressive behavior and remember exactly how overwhelming it felt. You try your best, but nothing seems to stick, and you cannot figure out what you are doing wrong. That experience is what led me here. My goal isn’t just to train dogs – it’s to help dog owners like you finally understand what’s going on and show you a clear, practical way forward. I want you to feel confident, supported and proud of the progress you and your dog make together. Over time, that passion led me to make a major life change.

I was born and raised in Germany, where I graduated from German high school and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2010. For about 15 years, I worked in my family’s business before relocating to the United States in 2015. Upon arrival, I decided to pivot from my previous career path after discovering my passion for working with dogs. In 2016, I completed my certification as a Dog Training and Behavior Modification Specialist at Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers.
Since then, I have:

Trained multiple dogs for law enforcement in detection and patrol (2016-2018).
Handled dogs for a private security company specializing in narcotics and explosives searches (2016-2018).
Trained personal protection dogs (2018).
Volunteer Puppy Foster for a Military Working Dog Breeding program
Been a certified Livefind K9 handler in Urban Search and Rescue through FEMA (since 2018).
Been a certified Livefind K9 handler in Wilderness Search and Rescue through IPWDA [International Police Working Dog Association] (since 2018).
Been a certified Human Remains K9 handler in Urban Search and Rescue through FEMA (since 2023)
Been a certified Human Remains K9 handler in Wilderness Search and Rescue through IPWDA (since 2023)

When I reached out to her, I was honestly at the point where I thought I might have to give up on Yowac because I was struggling so much with getting her to get along with Willy. I felt like I had tried everything and wasn't sure there was going to be a solution. Working with her completely changed that. She took the time to understand Yowac behavior, the relationship between Yowac and Willy, and what we needed to do differently. She was patient, knowledgeable, supportive, and gave me practical techniques that I could actually use at home. The improvement in Yowac  has been incredible. She has made so much progress, and the relationship between Yowac and Willy iis completely different from where we started. I went from feeling like I was running out of options to finally feeling confident and hopeful about having them together. Before I took him for training Charlie was a wild child.  He is very friendly but can be very unruly as well.  He was horrible on the leash, went insane when anyone came to my house and jumped on most people he met either in the house or out on our walks. Yasmin is a miracle worker!  When I picked him up and we had our training session I was truly amazed.  Now he walks perfectly on the leash, he stays when told to do so and he comes immediately when I call him even outside and around people.  He is very good about placing on his bed until I release him and he is also good with his door manners and no longer bolts out the door when I open it. Yasmin kept me posted on his progress while he was away and sent many pictures and videos of his training.  He was sitting and staying on the first day with her!  Charlie and I are keeping up with his training many times per day and he is continuing to do very well.  Taking Charlie to Yasmin was one of the best investments I have ever made.

My 2 year old foster pup needed to learn some household manners, to come when called, and to walk nicely even when temptation came calling in the form of deer or other walked dogs. Yasmin came each week and we worked on all these things successfully. She provided clear, patient instructions and we had so much improvement each week. My sweet hellion Sadie was extremely reactive to deer, and anything that moved,  terrified of the neighbors motorcycle, muscle car and even motorcycles a couple miles away.  To make matters worse I was about to have shoulder surgery on my left arm. We had puppy classes with someone else but  nothing worked for the problems above.  Sadie and I had six lessons at my home confronting the real problems I was having. We just finished a 2 mile walk, no pulling, no going crazy over deer. It was great for both of us. We have attended some of the group lessons which have helped me to make sure I keep up all the good work we did. Thank you Yasmin. I didn’t think it was possible.
