What are some appropriate toys to leave in your dog’s crate:
When putting your dog in his/her crate before leaving the house, we want to make sure that they have some kind of entertainment in case they won’t spend their time with just napping. Leaving some toys with your dog in the crate seems to be a great idea! But not all toys are created equal. Again, I would suggest to err on the side of caution and go with mainly indestructible toys such as hard rubber Kong toys and similar brands or hard plastic chew bones like Nylabones or Benebones Toys that I would not feel safe with leaving in a dog’s crate while the dog is unsupervised are: -plush toys -anything with fabric and seams, even if it’s advertised as indestructible -edible chews like bully sticks, pig ears, yak sticks, bones -tennis balls or chuck-it balls -antlers Comments are closed.
